Design Manager

Apple's attention to detail doesn't stop at its products, it shows up in its online store, retail stores, and employee experiences too.

Over 5+ years, I led digital design for these sides of Apple, from making the Apple Online Store more accessible to heading an innovation group for the Apple Retail experience.

Retail innovation

I led an innovation team redesigning experiences like in-store product discovery and wayfinding, using emerging technology concepts to shift learning from staff-assisted to self-directed, freeing up both store space and staff.

Retail UX

I designed apps that helped Apple Retail employees connect with customers more naturally, from iPad apps that put the Genius Bar in employees' hands instead of behind a desk to iPhone apps that let floor employees meet customers right where they were.

Online store accessibility

As an accessibility expert for the Apple Online Store, I designed experiences that helped customers with functional needs and assistive technology browse and purchase iPhones on their own, without needing to ask for help.

Enterprise apps

I led design teams shipping cross-platform tools that streamlined everyday workflows for Apple's marketing, sales, software, and HR teams. I also built Apple's first usability lab program, leading the research team whose studies shaped these tools and more.
